TRAVELGIFTS

It’s been quite a little while since the last Cosy Corner (sorry, guys). However, I hope I can be forgiven with this bumper-packed post. Instead of just picking one item each week, I’m going to be trying something a little different in the run-up to Christmas by giving a round-up of travel-related gifts, apps and hotels I hope will inspire you. And, y’know, just as a good place to drop some heavy present hints in case my family read this *cough*.

  • Full Length Travel Mirror

You’ve got a bargain of a hotel room, but it soon comes to light that, in making some sort of financial saving, you’ve had to make some sacrifices. I mean, a lack of TV I could possibly deal with, but having no full length mirror to check I’m not walking out in the morning with my skirt tucked in my pants? Now that’s a struggle.

Luckily for all us ladies and gents, some clever people have created a fully portable full length mirror which can be folded up and placed in a little carry bag. And, as it’s foldable, you can also use it as a hand-held mirror to do your make-up in. Perfect.

Available from Etsy for £35

  • Mixed Paper Travel Journal

If you’re like me and enjoy collecting bits on your travel – from napkins to business cards – and jotting down favourite memories, then a travel journal is essential. I love this quirky mixed paper journal which is just asking for you to scribble all over it and stuff your memories in.

Available from Etsy for £22
