On Tuesday I arrived back in the UK after a four-night trip to Paphos in Cyprus with icelolly.com. It was an absolutely amazing few days full of sightseeing, relaxing and soaking up the sunshine (all 26 degrees of it!) and I can’t wait to write up all about it for you.
It was a holiday that really just begged for a slower pace of travel. Instead of jostling from one site to the next, I found myself spending afternoons by the pool, sipping cocktails and cuddling cats. Of course, I couldn’t call myself a travel blogger if I didn’t get exploring at least some of the time. I’ll be writing up more about my thoughts on Paphos and my tips over the next few weeks, but to whet your appetite, here are 10 pictures that give you an idea of what I got up to…
Oh, I love Paphos! I think I’m long overdue for a visit. And I especially love that you got a picture of the cats – my aunt and uncle have a house there and their local bar has a little stray cat that’s adopted the place. He would always come and say hello when I was having a drink there 🙂
Oh, Emma. I was just sorting through my Paphos pictures. I have about 200 photos of cats. All beautiful, of course. Think it’s definitely time you revisited 😀
I had a brilliant time in Paphos, I see that you visited the archaelogical site too. Great that you got some horse riding in. Did you find it hot, it was baking when we went!
Yep, loved the archaeological site, especially the Tombs of the Kings! It was very hot, but a great time to go because we got to see all the flowers in full bloom. Glad we went in May and not in August as apparently it’s supposed to be unbearable! Which month did you go in?
This looks like a wonderful trip Emily and looking forward to seeing the rest of your posts about it! I’ve never been to Paphos or anywhere in Cyprus for that matter but I do like the idea of slow paced, chilled out travel once in a while – definitely helps to recharge the batteries!
