Learning how to ski has long been on my ‘to do’ list – and that’s not just because of the thought of the snug ski lodges. However, there’s always been something to put me off. At first it was the cost of lessons, and then it was the realisation that my skiing attempts will probably end up taking after Bridget Jones’…

When Inghams invited me along to their Learn to Ski event in Reading next month, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to finally put all my fears to one side.

And, what’s more, you too could be joining me on the slopes at Reading Skiplex, for a one-hour ski lesson!

The Prize

To celebrate 80 years in the ski industry, Inghams are hosting an event to teach 80 people how to ski. Taking place on the fully adjustable slopes at Reading’s Skiplex Indoor Ski Centre, the event will run from 9am until 3pm on Saturday 8th November.

As well as being kitted out in all the equipment you could possibly need, guests will be able to meet experts from Inghams and a team from Alberta, Canada. Of course, there will also be plenty of drinks and the opportunity to have photos taken in two retro ski gondolas which are coming all the way over from The Alps!

How to Enter
