If there’s one word that could sum up March, it would be ‘busy’.
From networking at #Traverse15 to making sure my Austrian trip was packed to the rafters with fun things to do, I’ve really tried to make the most of every single day.
This isn’t without consequence though. I’m really looking forward to catching up on some sleep over the Easter break, as well as ensuring my body gets all the right nutrients with numerous chocolate eggs. It’s only fair, right?
For now, however, let’s take a quick look back at the past month:
My 6 Favourite Moments of March:
1. Celebrating my 24th birthday with drinks in London and a meal back home in Essex
2. Meeting my friend’s new baby, Annie Rose ♥
3. Going stargazing in Seefeld, Austria
4. Getting tickets to see a Q&A with Ryan Gosling next month in London
5. Winning lunch for everyone in the Editorial department at work from Just East
6. Meeting the Luxury Columnist, That Adventurer, The Travelista, Travel Addict UK and Paper Planes & Caramel Waffles (and more!) at #Traverse15

April Plans:
Although April doesn’t involve visiting another country (boo), I still have a few little treats in store…
My friend and I won a stay at the Hoxton hotel with National Geographic Traveller magazine, so we’ll be putting that to good use in April! Expect a full review soon.
Me and a gaggle of friends were also lucky enough to nab tickets to a Q&A with Ryan Gosling in London, followed by a showing of his new movie Lost River. I still don’t think it’s sunk in yet that we are actually going to gaze upon the mere beauty of Mr Gosling (seriously…we keep phoning the box office to check he’s actually going to be there), but I’m looking forward to what has already been christened ‘Ryan Gosling month’.
Until next month’s check-in I shall leave you with what’s probably been the geekiest thing I’ve ever created – a video of my Easyjet flight from Innsbruck to Gatwick, filmed with my new GoPro 4 (if you want to just see some cool mountains, skip to 2:00!)
Emily – thank you for mentioning me – its just a shame #Traverse15 was mad and hectic that we didn’t get to speak much ! – I did love it even though I am still suffering with vertigo – and between teawashere, armachairtoreality and me – we should try and book the afternoon tea bus ! Have a well deserved rest at Easter – that is what I am planning too !!
Hi Natasha, hope you’re starting to feel a bit better now! It was such a hectic weekend, but alas – at least we did get to meet, no matter how briefly 🙂 And I’m definitely up for the afternoon tea bus trip!
Wow, it really has been a big month for you hasn’t it?! The Easter break sounds very well deserved! Was great to see you again at the weekend and what a cool prize you won in the form of the Hoxton hotel stay! Well done and look forward to reading all about it!
Thanks Shikha, was lovely to catch up with you too – next time hopefully it’ll be for longer 😀
Errmmmm oh my god Ryan Gosling! How amazing is that?! I expect selfies. I can’t believe you’re going to breathe the same air. Jealous!
I knooooooooooow I can’t quite believe it yet! Only 9 more days to go, eeep! 😀
Thanks for the mention Emily, so lovely to meet you and this is a brilliant roundup. Hope you have fun with Ryan Gosling!
