Sometimes it’s bloomin’ hard to put into words just what a trip is like. My trip to Seefeld, in Austria, was just one of those times.
Not that I haven’t tried. If you’ve been on the blog in the last few weeks you will have seen my new blog posts have all been about Austria – from all the winter wonderland activities that I got up to, to trying my hardest not to die while learning to ski.
While I was there I put my birthday present into action – the GoPro HERO4. I took hundreds of mini clips and over the past few weeks I’ve been busy squirrelling away trying to piece them all together.
Well, it’s now complete! Granted it’s not going to win any big prizes, but I’m strangely proud of it.
I wanted to put this video together mainly because I wanted to show you exactly what an Inghams trip is all about. If you don’t know who Inghams are, they’re one of the UK’s leading specialist tour operators offering ski, plus lakes and mountains, trips all year round to places across Europe, as well as the USA and Canada.
But, their ski holidays are not all ‘arrive at the airport and head straight for the slopes’. I was so impressed by the range of other activities on offer at my resort in Seefeld, Austria. As well as ski lessons for beginners, there was the option to take part in day or evening organised trips, head off to explore the local area, or even just find some time in the afternoon to go for a dip in the pool.
I’ve only uploaded a handful of videos in the past, but hopefully this’ll now be on the rise thanks to my new GoPro! It would be lovely to find a few subscribers for my YouTube account (my subscriber count is currently looking particularly, uh, depressing.) And do let me know your YouTube account so I can return the favour!
So, here we go, have fun!
That must have been a lot of work to put together Emily, I’m thinking about getting a Go Pro too
Y’know, the worst bit was finding the music to go with it – I actually really enjoyed putting everything else together haha! Would definitely recommend getting a GoPro. I’ve only used it once for this trip, but it produces fantastic high-quality images/videos.
