Confession: I’m a little bit in denial that it’s the end of May. I spend so long looking forward to the two May bank holidays here in the UK, and before I know it they’re gone!
At least May has been quite a busy month for pretty much everyone. Here in England we’ve got a new royal baby, a new government, and we’ve even had a few sunny days, hurrah!
In Cosy Land it’s been pretty busy too. I’ve notched up a trip to my second new country of the year, Cyprus, with icelolly.com, celebrated my boyfriend’s 28th birthday with several parties, booked tickets to see Britney Spears in Vegas this November and walked approximately 66 miles on my new ‘Get Fit’ regime.
And just yesterday I managed to tick off another thing on my #25Before25 list – I climbed over the o2 arena! It really wasn’t as strenuous or as scary as I was expecting, but I’d recommend it to all of you who want to see London from a different perspective. Keep your eyes peeled for a full review coming soon!
And there’s still more to come! Tomorrow I’m taking my friend on a surprise day out for her 30th birthday. I can’t tell you exactly where I’m taking her yet just in case she’s reading this, but I’ll share with you all over on my Facebook page once the cat is out of the bag.
I’m also getting very impatient while saving up for my big USA trip later this year. I’m starting to plan ahead for making my own lunch for work (so boring of me, I know), but I’m trying to keep myself motivated by researching all the amazing trips that are on offer out there. If you have any amazing saving tips, please do let me know!

What I’ve Been Watching
I’ve been a bit of a slave to Netflix this month, and am slowly making my way through Marvel’s Daredevil series. And, I realise I’m about two years behind, but I’ve started to get into Orange is the New Black – I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying it!
Cat(s) of the Month
My ginger boys (Jim and Ralph) curled up in bed with me this morning – I’m still reeling from the shock!
We’ve also been watching Daredevil this month, it’s really good! Just another one to tick off on my never ending list of things to watch haha!
Haha you sound JUST like me, Kerri – so much to see, so little time 😀
It’s great isn’t it?! I just finished it last night and I can’t wait for the second season
Impressed with you climbing the O2 arena. I don’t have a head for heights so probably not for me!
Not brave enough to do something like climb the 02 (I couldn’t get past the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower (wuss, I know!) so grats!
Daredevil’s on my ‘to watch’ list, along with Orange… and Breaking Bad etc. My Sky box is full of TV shows Im trying to find the time to watch, I can’t keep up with all the good TV they’ve been making over the last few years! :s
haha thanks, Keri! I thought I would chicken out going over the O2 but it wasn’t half as scary as I was expecting!
And I know *exactly* how you feel with all these TV shows. You’ll have to set aside a whole weekend to binge watch them all x
