If I had to choose my ideal Sunday evening, a blogger slumber party at a chic hotel in London has got to be right up there. Luckily, that’s exactly what I’m doing tonight! I’m so bloomin’ excited. I’ve even got my fancy PJs packed.
I’m going to be heading over to Qbic London City Hotel later on for an evening with five bloggers/vloggers: May from Red Velvet London, Em from Catch 52, April from Apriloves, Sarah from Let Me Tell You About a Hotel, and Laura from Little TravelBee (fresh off the plane from her SE Asia adventures!).
The #QbicSlumberParty is something completely different to anything I’ve seen before, which is why I’m so excited to be a part of it. Known for its design-led, affordable and (very importantly for me…) comfortable rooms, Qbic has hotels in Amsterdam and London, the latter just a few metres away from the achingly-cool Brick Lane. It’ll be my first time staying at one of their hotels, so I’m looking forward to getting the low-down (especially when they have rooms called “Cosy” – it’s like it was made for me!)
So, what’s the plan for our slumber party?
Once we’ve arrived, we’ll spend a bit of time settling in (always the most exciting part for me- I love exploring new, quirky rooms!) before we head down for a slap-up dinner courtesy of the lovely Qbic team. Afterwards, it’s time to change into PJs for a movie showing of ‘White Chicks’ in the lounge area downstairs. (This is open to all hotel guests, so if you’re there tonight, feel free to drop in too!)
And no slumber party is complete without a slap-up meal the morning after. Luckily I have Monday free to spend in London, so I’m looking forward to dropping into a few places I’ve been meaning to visit for absolute yonks.

Oooh sounds fun!! There are crazy pubs & funky cafes in Aldgate – I love getting lost there!
Thanks for the tips, Emma! Turns out we all had a bit of an early night on the Sunday, but I enjoyed a morning walk up Brick Lane just taking in the street art and shops! 🙂
